Being the best you can be

Being the best you can be, means being able to face yourself each evening and know that what you did all day met your moral and ethical standards. Being the best you can be, means that the saint within you is pleased each day with your conduct, does not feel let down by your efforts. This doesn’t mean you won’t make mistakes, because making mistakes is part of the learning process, and you can learn from yours. It doesn’t mean you will always be able to meet the demands or expectations of others, for often, in this imperfect world, others try to get you to do things that are for their own good, and not for yours, not realising that if they take from you to help themselves, they are causing problems for themselves, and not really getting a good deal, even when they think they are. It means that each day, you can end your activities with a clear conscience, and the feeling that you have walked further towards the edge of the swamp, and not further into it. Being the best you can be is pleasing to your divine inner self, and to God, and to your Guardian Angel, and to all those who love you.
